This last week was pretty good to me. as most of you guys know i've been struggling to get enough hours at work and an even harder time locating another job, juggling searching between work and a girl friend. i had a good laugh the other day when i shared my concern with a fellow employee at work about my concerns about my next pay check being short some money that i would need to pay off bills let alone buy food to eat. What made it funny was one of the girls was eaves dropping and decided to give advice, she said " call your dad and tell him you need money." now thats why i giggled. the irony that most kids here have school handed to them on a silver platter and if you spend all your money... call dad. why didn't i think of that!!!!????? so i came across a plan that will give me an extra 50 bucks a week. i went into the plasma center, filled out papers, waited, got poked several times, and 3 hours later ( first time takes for ever)
i walked out with 25 bucks. next time will only take like 45 minutes. lol last time i tried to go donate i wasn't aloud cause i had only been home for 5 months from my mission, and the requirement was 6. but anywho it was pretty cool i only got dizzy once when they started playing with the needle while it was in my arm. so that marks a first for me. and i also got to go on a road trip last weekend with my girlfriend. we went back to moses lake through Oregon, so naturally we stopped at Brett and Karens house so they could meet Elaina. and it turned out pretty cool. then the next day i got to meet all her freinds and parents. what an experiance. i followed her into her house. she takes off to her bed room to let me fend for myself against the parents. but all and all it was a good weekend. i even got hugs. wierd, not unwelcome but wierd. so my question is, What next? Who knows? i'll let you know when i find out. :)

wierd
Well not that anyone wants to know this but i thought it was pretty interesting and wierd and gross. So last night Elaina and I went with one of the guys in our apt with his date to IF (idaho falls). it was funny watching the two flirt. But anyways we ended up going to the mall for them and then we went and ate dinner at Red Robins. The food was way good, but the last bite made me feel wierd so i walked to the bathroom and when i got there i threw up involuntarily for the first time in over 13 years. it suprised me cause that wasn't my intention, I'm wondering if i'm balimic(if that's how you spell it). But i feel great today. thought i'd keep every one informed. things are going great. I'm loving the dating seen again and the wonderful company that Elaina gives me.

Well

So i talked to Mom and she asked that i update my blog since i'm dating someone again. and let everyone know whats happening in my life. her name is Elaina Lynne Duvall. i met her in Moses Lake while i was living there. When i moved down here we started doing things together and things just clicked, and now sparks are starting to fly. and i must say that i am enjoying the whole experience right now. she is someone who loves my humor ( never thought it possible) she is athletic, and musical. she enojoys the outdoors and guns like i do. she wants a big family (bonus) and she is way good with kids. when we were in utah she stayed up until 4 with raven and raven's friend talking and playing tricks on people. she is 5'5 and 125 lbs. dirty brown blonde hair down to her jaw line. gorgeous blue green eyes. and a cute little giggle. she has a hard time looking week. We were coming back from washing clothes today at a friends house. it had been snowing so the roads where kinda icy but not too bad. but anyways we hit a patch of black ice coming back and it put my truck into a fish tail. i kept control fairly well. but we did end up doing a 180 and ended up facing the other way. it scared her a little bit so when we got back she locked herself in the bathroom so i couldn't see her cry. i thought it was kinda cute. but she's the youngest of three. she has an older brother and sister. both married. oh and she has one niece. i think she is way pretty

Changes
Well I've yet again moved. I was living with My aunt and uncle in Moses lake, Washington. It was a great time staying with them but i always get this feeling after a couple months that i'm intruding on the other peoples lifestyle. which i hope isn't entirely true (if thats how you spell it) But i made the move to Rexburg Idaho without any problems after a nice visit Canada. I got to spend alot of time with my brother before i left. it'll probably be a while before i go back or see cam again. so i hope time keeps both of my family segmants safe. But I have a job all lined up here, i'm working at the local wendy's which is pretty good. i'm enjoying it. i was scared though i applied at several locations and found out that the Arby's was hiring, so i filled out an application. then went back with my friend to pick up one for him and i guess all 200 applications they had printed had been given out. So I'm not the only one looking for a job. I have a great apt. I'm also the oldest i'm my apt. 4 of the other guys havn't even served a mission yet and the other served in mexico but got back only 6 months ago. i've been home for 2 years now. it was 2 years on the 4th of january. Where does the time fly away to? am i ever gonna get it back? oh well things are great. I'm healthy and things are as they should be. so no complaints

Gratitude.
It's amazing when you come to a self acknowledgement that you are truely as stuborn as your dear parents. no offense mom and dad. but you have taught us how to so well. but i'm not complaining, it's one trait that has helped me conquer many of my trials. (i've had my fair share recently) i'm slowly turning into my father besides the fact that i look like my mom. lol oh well. So the reason this thinking process has been brought about is that the other day my uncle started teasing me about not helping out around the house more. and my tipical thought was i do plenty. and he retorted with saying look you have it pretty good. you don't have to pay rent or for food. and i realized he was right and i cold be up a harder creek. i've been truely blessed with a great situation and a great job. so i have nothing to complain about and need to buckle down and lift someone else's burden right? i wish i could lift some of the burdens my parents are going through right now. growing p it always seemed to come one after another. and dad and mom would always bounce back. but it seems that the older i get the thicker the trials get for mom and dad. and all i can do is watch. if only my position was greater to help. i was reading what mom had written on her blog saying how we were never very blessed financially and if we were what other blessing would we have to sacrifice for it. and i think i want to state that i have no regrets growing up the way i did. we might not have had lots but we had what we needed when we needed it. i had clothes to wear food to eat. shelter. support from my parents. i got to play sports and travel wit them. i learned that money doesn't grow on trees and if you want it you better be ready to work. i got to go play football in oregon when there wasn't any in my school. i had a cheer squad at every game ( not too mention two coaches. the one sitting in the bleachers yelled more though) i had everything. so mom and dad. you did good by me. i'm even kinda thankful for the woopens. it worked. so i'm being grateful on this day after thanksgiving. to have recieved from God two of his best guides he put here. heck i had to share mom with a whole school. and i don't know of a single person that speaks bad about them with justible cause. So i thank God for my blessings and invite you to do the same

Rexburg?
So I got to spend my weekend this week driving. don't get me wrong. if it didn't cost so much to do ( not as much anymore) i would drive all over the place every weekend. it's freedom behind a wheel. power under my foot. and a 100% control of where i go. unless i miss an exit. My buddy Cam Black and I loaded up thursday after work (5:45ish) and headed out. i've never been the montana way where you drive through massoula and down through Bute Montana. but the scenery was beautiful. and it kinda reminded me of home in some spots or of where we go hunting. but we made it to Rexburg by 3 a.m. and crashed. the next day we got up and did a little tour of campus. we talked to housing and counciling and this person and that and covered all our bases. and i did a little bit of girl watching. wow. lots of cuties. watch out rexburg. i'm coming for ya. we then watched the new james bond. which was non stop action. it was intense. then i met up with some friends inclueding one of the guys i grew up with Brian Kochel and we went to Bajio's (like Cafe rio.. Almost.) and bowling. then i took one of the girls i knew to Brians apt to watch a movie. way fun. the next day we slept in and then went to lunch with my Uncle Glenn and family. after which he took me too the house he's building. it is gorgeous. and then we trekked it back to Moses lake. i love cheep Gas. made the trip so much sweeter.
